Lisa and I met back in September of 2001 by chance and immediately realized we had a strong bond.  As we got to know each other, we realized we were both driven to help others live to their fullest potential by being healthy, happy and loved.  We were both busy work at home moms completely immersed in the craziness of life. While all of our responsibilites seemed like a great big juggling act most of the time, we were loving every minute of it.  In the summer of 2011, that changed for me when I entered the hardest trial of my life.  I was fighting for my life and no one knew what was wrong with me.  Lyme disease can look very different from person to person.  I was blessed to have a few really close friends and an amazingly supportive family. I also had a very dear friend, Cheryl, who had been diagnosed with Lyme disease around the same time.  Being connected with others going through the same thing is powerful.  That connection was a big part of the healing process.  We then realized the power of connecting and helping others through their healing journey. It is a vital component to becoming healthy again and, because of that important connection to healing, we wanted others to have it as well.

Lisa was a beacon of light for me in the darkness of this experience.  The vision of supporting and helping others became our mission.  We then realized our meeting was not by chance, it was by fate.  We are passionate about reaching others that are going through the experience of Lyme disease or any other health issue.  Lyme disease, in particular, is a scary disease. There are so many unknowns and false negative tests that those suffering with it are left feeling alone, frustrated, hopeless and at the end of their rope.  Let alone the insurmountable expense, it’s overwhelming to say the least.  It is frustrating, expensive, isolating, restricting and leaves people feeling hopeless.  I know….I’ve been through it.  So we wanted to pass on as much knowledge as possible, what we believed helped me the most, and to go through the journey while finding happiness and hope through laughter and friendship as we did.  We are committed to helping the masses recover from Lyme disease.

We want to encourage, lift up, breathe life and deliver hope to all of those suffering from not only Lyme but any issue in their life that is holding them down.  We believe there is so much power in unity, community, laughter, and support that we decided to put this website together.  We want to encourage through our blog, our face book page and webinars to reach as many as possible to find the way towards healing and discover the beautiful lessons we learn along the way.  That may seem confusing right now…how in the world can there be beauty in this?  We get that….and there are so many amazing and beautiful lessons.  We are on this journey together and we look forward to healing together.

That’s a little bit about us…but this site and our mission is to encourage, inspire, and support YOU and everyone else who is experiencing Lyme disease or other health issues right now.  This site is about “US” as a whole…healing together, learning together, and laughing together as we weave our way through the tangled mess of Lyme disease.
